The first famous religious places in India are the Gurudwara of Anandpur Sahib. This Gurudwara is awake in the people of Sikhism. It is believed that in the gurus the filling of the devotees who take a begging is fulfilled. This Gurudwara is located at a distance of 80 km from Chandigarh in the north- south region of Punjab.
Anandpur Sahib is also known as the “holy city of bliss”. The city of Anandpur Sahib was founded in 1664 by 9th Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. After that Guru Gobind Singh Ji had lived here for some 28 years. Guru Gobind Singh gave the title of Panj Pyare in 1699 in the Takht of Anandpur Sahib (Anandpur Sahib), Shri Keshgarh Sahib, and the beginning of the Khalsa sect.
